Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • All references are complete, with links or DOIs where available.
  • The manuscript uses the journal template.
  • The text uses a 12-point font and 1.5 line spacing, with figures and tables placed in the text.
  • The work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All authors are registered with complete details.
  • The file is in Word or PDF format.
  • Author details appear only on the title page, not in the body of the paper.

Author Guidelines

How to submit

Manuscripts must be submitted online through this website. Register or log in, choose Make a Submission, and follow the steps. For technical problems, contact the editorial office using the details on the Contact page.

Files required

  • The manuscript, prepared in the journal template (Word or PDF).
  • A cover letter stating that the work is original and not under review elsewhere.

Peer review

Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, and a decision is normally sent to the author within two months.

Plagiarism check

All manuscripts are checked with plagiarism detection software. Papers with a high similarity level will be rejected.

Structure of the article

  • Title and author details
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion
  • Declarations: funding, data availability, conflict of interest
  • References

Tables, figures and references

Place tables and figures within the text, numbered and with captions. Number references in the order they are cited, and include DOIs where available.

Publication Charges

This is a practice site, so no charges apply. On a real journal, state the article processing charge and the waiver policy here.

Waivers may be considered for authors who cannot pay the charge.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authors confirm that the work is original and that they have the right to publish it.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
